Holey, Wholly, Holy is throwing a Love Feast! It will be on Facebook live on Nov 9 at 7:30 pm EST. We invite you to dip your toe in the water and try out our community!
What can you expect? We will be coming together on Facebook live because you can stay anonymous or you may join in the conversation.

Why? Because too many of us have been so wounded that putting ourselves out there can be scary. But sitting on the margins and dipping your toe in as you feel comfortable might be safer feeling.
I have several friends who are incredible human beings with gifts that they share with their whole hearts. And they are LGBT+. Too many of them have shared experiences where they have become deeply engaged in church, loving and being loved. But when they expressed their sexual orientation, they were quickly removed not only from leadership but shunned from the entire church.
I have another friend who teaches in the public schools. She provides safe space for children who are determining who they are and what their identity is. At one point she had a parent accuse her of “turning kids gay by touching them.”
Usually, these accusations come from “good, upright” Christians. I don’t know what side of Jesus they’ve met. But it’s not the Jesus I know.

The Jesus I know allowed a woman to wash his feet at the dinner table with her hair and expensive perfume.
The Jesus I know invited small children to crawl up into his lap in a time when children were not invited to play with adults who just happened to be walking down the street.
The Jesus I know sat with a Samaritan woman at the well that most Jews would walk literally 30 miles out of their way to avoid even seeing, much less talking to.
The Jesus I know healed the sick that were seen as unclean by spitting on his hands and applying them to the man’s eyes.
The Jesus I know looks at our spirits and calls to the God Spark placed in each of us rather than looking at all that society despises, rejects, ridicules, and fears.

This is the God I love. This is the God I want to share. You are accepted. You are of sacred worth. We look to the unique beauty that God has given just to you and embrace you.
In this community we desire respect for each person. We desire a place at the table for all to be heard. We desire patience with one another. We desire a way to connect to the Divine. We desire a where all gifts are welcome. We desire a place where spiritual growth may flourish. We desire grace to be extended.

We hope you come dip your toe in the water so we can get to know each other better!
